reality. i had this conversation exchange with my friend a few nights ago. i have to be honest, the last time i met someone new that i ended up dating was while i was still in college. when i graduated, i was still in that relationship and so when it ended, i didn’t have the reliance of meeting someone at school anymore. i mean, yes, i’ve had a few flings and met a lot of people definitely worth dating, but they’ve either amounted to nothing more or i ended up being friendzoned. i don’t know if it’s due to my lack of fortitude or something else, but i’ve come to understand it. but then i thought, if i acted differently, would i get what i wanted more often? it’s something that i definitely want to try, but i don’t want to lose my true self in the process. but if that’s all that the people i’m interested go for, then…
