reality. i had this conversation exchange with my friend a few nights ago. i have to be honest, the last time i met someone new that i ended up dating was while i was still in college. when i graduated, i was still in that relationship and so when it ended, i didn’t have the reliance of meeting someone at school anymore. i mean, yes, i’ve had a few flings and met a lot of people definitely worth dating, but they’ve either amounted to nothing more or i ended up being friendzoned. i don’t know if it’s due to my lack of fortitude or something else, but i’ve come to understand it. but then i thought, if i acted differently, would i get what i wanted more often? it’s something that i definitely want to try, but i don’t want to lose my true self in the process. but if that’s all that the people i’m interested go for, then…

one of the most important things in me finding you attractive is your music selection. i listen to mostly hip hop and r&b, some EDM/house here and there, and some acoustic as well. i’ll look through your iTunes, ask you who your favorite artists are, and grade your playlists; weird, yes, but music is one thing that keeps me happy. quality music selection is a very important characteristic in my book.
